EARLY BOOKING OFFER
We’re contacting you to give you the opportunity to book our 2014 Travel Writing Course, ‘Living the Dream – Making Money from Your Holidays’, at the special price of £745 per person (instead of the usual £795), if you do so by 30 November.
This course on the beautiful, unspoilt island of Paxos, will be led by highly successful travel and food writer, Heidi Fuller-love, whose features and photographs regularly appear in magazines and newspapers worldwide. Heidi has already won the 2013 New York Travel Writers Society's Travel Radio Personality of the Year Award for her monthly British Airways travel shows and has now also just been named as one of the five finalists in the Travel Broadcaster of the Year category of the prestigious 2013 British Travel Press Awards.
The course is equally suitable for experienced writers and complete beginners; what is important is a desire to write. Non-participating partners are very welcome and we can also arrange extended stays on Paxos, if you would like a slightly longer holiday.
Why come to Paxos: Paxos is a really beautiful island with unspoilt villages, stunning scenery and the unrushed pace of life in Greece as it always used to be. It’s a truly inspirational location and, whether you are a beginner or a more experienced writer, it’s hard to imagine a better place to hone your writing skills.
Where you will stay: Accommodation will be lovely shared villas, each with its own pool and spacious terraces, set in the olive groves about a 20-minute walk above the pretty village of Loggos, the smallest of the three coastal villages onPaxos.
Tuition: ‘Living the Dream: Making Money from Your Holidays’ will give you the starting blocks to build your travel writing skills and find a relevant outlet to see your work in print, whether you’re a hobby writer who’d just like to pen a few pieces about your holidays for your local newspaper, fancy having your own travel blog, or would like to set about becoming a travel writer in earnest. Tuition will be based around group tuition sessions on five mornings a week, and there will also be an opportunity for one-to-one sessions. Afternoons will be free, leaving plenty of time to carry on writing, explore Paxos or simply relax.
The cost and what’s included: The course normally costs £795 per person butthere is a special price of £745 if you book by 30 November. This includes tuition, accommodation in a shared twin room, return transfers between Corfu Airport and your accommodation on Paxos, breakfast, two lunches and four dinners (with wine) in local tavernas, welcome and farewell drinks, and any local transport required in connection with the course.
